Minecraft is seemingly taking over the gaming world with its accessible gameplay and simple (but fun) mechanics. The game is appealing to all ages of gamers and even serves as a learning tool in primary schools and universities, which is why Microsoft was so keen on purchasing developer Mojang for $2.5 billion back in 2014.

That reach expanded when Minecraft: Wii U Edition launched this past December and today, Nintendo and Mojang have announced a strategic partnership to bring the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack to the platform. You’ll find Super Mario-themed textures, 40 skins (Mario, Luigi, Wario, Bowser and many other are included) and 15 audio tracks from Super Mario 64 to get it in you the mood for high-class brick busting.

According to Mojang and Nintendo, the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack was inspired by and designed using content from Super Mario World, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario 64. So if you’re a fan of these classic Mario games and just so happen to be an ardent Minecraft player, this pack has everything needed to transport you to a simpler time in console gaming.

“Both the Super Mario franchise and Minecraft embrace the magic of exploration and discovery,” said Nintendo of America exec Steve Singer. “Players will have a great time adventuring and creating in this free game update that embraces the unique and memorable elements of both franchises.”

The Super Mario Mash-Up Pack will debut May 17th as a free update for Minecraft: Wii U Edition. A retail version of Minecraft: Wii U Edition will launch on June 17th for $30 and will include the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack on the game disc.
