T-Mobile Announces Hot Galaxy Note 8 Buy One, Get One Free Offer
This is a good way to offset the cost of the Galaxy Note 8, which retails for $930 at T-Mobile. In order to take advantage of the promotion, you will need to purchase a Galaxy Note 8, sign up for a new line for a second Galaxy Note 8, and take advantage of T-Mobile’s Equipment Installment Plan (EIP).
You will be required to put a $210 down payment on the second Galaxy Note 8, and then follow that up with $30 per month in additional payments. So where does the “free” part come in? Well, after receiving your Galaxy Note 8, you will have to fill in and submit a rebate, and after 8 weeks, you’ll receive the full purchase price back in the form of a Prepaid MasterCard. If you decide to bail on payments, T-Mobile will charge you for the remaining “unpaid” balance on the smartphone.
And since we’re talking about special promotions, you also will likely want to take advantage of the freebies that Samsung is offering. Customers can get a free Gear 360 camera or a Galaxy Foundation Kit -- which includes a Samsung 128GB EVO+ memory card and Fast Wireless Charging Convertible -- with the purchase of each Galaxy Note 8 smartphone.
Although the official launch date for the Galaxy Note 8 is September 15, it appears that some customers will receive their smartphones much sooner (as is often the case with Samsung preorders) according to a new report.
