Target Unleashes Black Friday Ad Including $165 Xbox One S And $250 Apple iPad

More Black Friday ads continue to roll in ahead of time, giving shoppers a chance to plan out a strategy to nab the best deals. The latest Black Friday ad to emerge is from Target. It is a whopping 40-page flyer filled with discounted items across a wide range of categories, everything from game systems and large screen televisions, to clothes and bedding. Among the more interesting deals is an Xbox One S for $165, if you factor in the $25 gift card that comes with it.

The console will be marked down on Black Friday to $190, which is $90 off its regular price. On top of that, Target will be tossing in a $25 store gift card. If you have more shopping to do at Target, it is like paying $165. The 500GB game system does not come with any games and just one wireless controller, so using the gift card towards a game or a second controller would not be a bad idea.

Target will also be marking down Apple's 2017 model iPad with 32GB of onboard storage and 9.7-inch display. It will sell for $250, down from $330. That is a really good price for Apple's newest iPad, which is powered by a custom A9 system-on-chip (SoC), an embedded M9 coprocessor, and 2GB of RAM. It was not that long ago when the latest iPads would start at $499.

Some other notable deals include:
  • Westinghouse 55-inch 4K Smart TV: $250 (save $400)
  • Samsung 65-inch 4K Smart TV: $850 (save $450)
  • Google Chromecast: $25 (save $10)

  • PlayStation 4 1TB: $200 (save $100)

Unfortunately, Target is like almost every other retailer that, in recent years, has pushed back Black Friday to Thanksgiving Day. In this case, doors open at 6 PM Thursday and close at midnight, then re-open again at 6 AM Friday morning. While we can never say for sure, it is a pretty safe bet that the best deals will already be sold out by the time doors re-open on Friday.
