The NFL Announces Programming Partnerships For Amazon Fire TV, Kindle Fire, And Roku, Joining Verizon, Microsoft and Yahoo
You'll be able to pick your favorite team, fantasy players, and which videos you like or don't like. Based on your choices, the content stream will be personalized to deliver customizable news, analysis, and highlights. NFL Now will also grant access to on-demand NFL video content.

"Our agreements with Amazon and Roku drive towards our goal of securing the broadest possible distribution for NFL Now at launch, providing fans a robust NFL video experience no matter what platform or device they are using."
This is also a big win for Amazon's recently launched $99 Fire TV box (see our review). There's a lot of competition in the streaming space, and getting NFL on board can help sway sports fans in choosing Fire TV over competing devices, like Google's Chromecast dongle.
