T-Mobile Not Getting iPhone Anytime Soon

This one is about as cut and dry as they come: there's still no T-Mobile iPhone around the corner. Over the weekend, AT&T announced their intentions to acquire T-Mobile USA for $39 billion, and immediately, some began to wonder about the obvious: would this mean that the iPhone would have yet another new home? Not so fast. A Q&A form that was put up shortly after the news broken confirmed as much, with this being the standout quote:

"T-Mobile USA remains an independent company. The acquisition is expected to be completed in approximately 12 months. We do not offer the iPhone. We offer cutting edge devices like the Samsung Galaxy S 4G and coming soon our new Sidekick 4G."

It's really interesting that T-Mobile decided to call out the iPhone. It's as if they knew the question would be coming. So, in short, you won't be able to buy an iPhone for T-Mobile's network anytime soon, but that's just for now. What about the iPhone 5? If it's LTE-enabled, get ready for the questions to begin swirling all over again...
