Toshiba Reinvents Pen And Paper With Ultra-thin dynaPad 12-inch Windows 10 Tablet

When Microsoft announced the Surface Pro 4 tablet, the world took notice. In the months since the Surface Pro 4’s release, we’ve seen other manufacturers mimic some of the design and goals of Microsoft’s popular tablet. Although there are similarities among these clones, there are also distinct differences that make them better for different types of users. One of those Windows 10-based tablets is Toshiba’s new 12-inch dynaPad which is designed to give you the feel of writing with pen and paper.

In order to deliver a natural handwriting experience that feels like writing with pen on paper, Toshiba bonds two sheets of high-quality glass with a metal mesh sensor. For durability, Toshiba incorporates Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 with Native Damage Resistance.

In addition to promising an excellent writing experience, the dynaPad claims to be the world’s thinnest and lightest 12-inch Windows tablet, measuring just 6.9mm (0.27 inches) thin and weighing 1.28 pounds.
