Ubisoft's Official Watch Dogs Trailer Shows Exciting Hackeriffic Fun Is In Store

Four more days. That's how much longer you have to wait for Ubisoft to release Watch Dogs, one of the most anticipated games of the year, though it might has well be four hundred days, because that's what it feels like. With each new trailer Ubisoft teases us with, we grow increasingly anxiously and more impatient to jump into the role of Aiden Pearce, a hacker on the hunt for revenge.

The latest trailer is more of the same -- gripping storyline, good graphics, fun game play elements, city hacking (Watch Dogs takes place in Chicago), and of course lots of hype. Nothing new is revealed, but that's okay because we're already counting down the days.

Watch Dogs is a third-person action adventure title that thrusts you into an open world. As mentioned, you play as Aiden Pearce, a gray-hat hacker seeking vengeance for his niece, who was killed when his enemies came looking for him. He's pissed off and dangerous, which should make for some fun game play, of which Creative Director Jonathan Morion previously stated the main story of the game will be about 35 to 40 hours long. There will also be a multiplayer element.

Watch Dogs releases to PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on May 27, 2014. A version for the Wii U is also planned, but won't come out until sometime in the fourth quarter of this year.
