Verizon Wireless Restores LTE Access

Well, better is definitely late than never in this case. After dealing with a ~24 hour outage of their LTE network, Verizon Wireless finally has their 4G systems in order, and phones are now coming back online. It's definitely not unusual for pockets or service to see minor blips of service disruption from time to time, but an entire telecom network down for a day? Thankfully, that's the exception rather than the norm in the U.S.

As of now, no cause for the outage is being made public, but reports are flying in suggesting that the network really is fixed. We guess we should've expected something like this to go down given the "green" nature of the network, but it's still no fun to have happen. Is your LTE phone back online? Here's hoping for the best!
