Walmart Flexes Its Black Friday Muscles With Discounts On 4K TVs, Google Home, Xbox One S And PS4

The Black Friday ads keep rolling in, giving you plenty of time to formulate a shopping strategy. One of the newest ads to land is from Walmart. The massive retail chain will have discounts on a wide assortment of items, including some nice deals on 4K resolution televisions, and game consoles such as Microsoft's Xbox One S and Sony's PlayStation 4. Sadly, Nintendo's Switch will not be marked down, but it will be in stock, at least initially.

Samsung TV

If you're after a 4K TV, one of the better deals is a Sharp 55-inch 4K Smart TV (LC-55P6000U) with high dynamic range (HDR) support for just $298. Walmart will also have a Samsung 40-inch 4K TV (40MU6290) with HDR support for $328, along with a handful of 1080p TVs on sale if you are not ready to make the jump to 4K. Some of them include a Vizio 43-inch 1080p TV for $198, a Samsung 32-inch 1080p TV for $158, and an Element 39-inch 1080p TV for just $125.

There be deals on game consoles and accessories, too. Here is a look at some of them:

  • PlayStation 4 1TB: $199
  • PlayStation 4 GranTurismo Sport VR Bundle: $299
  • Nintendo 2DS Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Bundle: $79
  • Xbox One and PS4 Controllers: $39
Walmart will have an assortment of games on sale as well, some as low as $9. Call of Duty WWII will be available for $43, versus its normal selling price of $60. And for $59, Walmart will be selling the Call of Duty Combo Pack that comes with Call of Duty WWII and Infinite Warfare Special Edition, for either Xbox One or PS4.

The Google Home smart speaker will be on sale for $79, down from $129, and the Google Home Mini will be priced at $29, down from $49. Walmart will also have Google's Chromecast dongle for $20, down from $35, with a $5 Vudu credit included.

Walmart's Black Friday discounts go into effect at 6 PM on Thursday, November 23 in stores, and all day online.
