Weekend Price Drop Looms for HTC One X at AT&T

If you're getting ready to purchase HTC's One X smartphone on AT&T, just stop what you're doing and hang tight for a couple of days. That's because the $200 smartphone (with 2-year service agreement) is about to get cheaper -- a lot cheaper.

A member of the XDA Developer forum who claims to work for AT&T revealed company plans to slash the HTC One X price in half on Sunday. Effective July 29, 2012, the phone will run $100 on contract. According to the supposed AT&T employee, "this is the new price point, no special or deal."
