Wikipad Slashes Price of 7-inch Android Gaming Tablet to $199
Remember when the only Android tablets on the market were models in the $500 range? That seems like a century ago, and it might as well have been, as low-cost Android slates are now the norm, not the exception. It's becoming a tough landscape to compete it, and to ensure its Wikipad 7 tablet isn't overshadowed by less expensive models, Wikipad just dropped the price down to $199.
That's $50 cheaper than the $249 price tag it carried yesterday. In addition to having a lower cost of entry, the Wikipad 7 is now capable of mapping touch games to the controller, thereby eliminating one of the limitations of many mobile games in which control schemes are not suited for touch play.
