Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 11102 Is A Non-Starter For Gamers
Windows Insiders sitting pretty in the Fast ring have a new Windows 10 build to play with and test out, build 11102, but there's something you should know before you rush out and grab it. The new build has a few known issues, including one that could negatively impact your gaming experience in several popular titles.
That particular bug is related to the Windows graphics stack and is causing PC games to crash to the desktop in certain instances, such as switching from windowed mode to full screen, when changing the resolution, or even just launching a title. Microsoft said it's witnessed crashes in The Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Tomb Raider, Assassin's Creed, and Metal Gear Solid V, while noting that other titles might be affected as well.
