Wolfenstein II DLC Detailed, Here's When You Can Play The 'Freedom Chronicles' Trilogy
Is there anything more satisfying than blasting Nazis? It is at least in the running for the top spot of fun things to do, and Bethesda will ensure you can keep doing exactly that in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, with several bits of DLC that are on the way this holiday season. Dubbed "Freedom Chronicles," the first bit called Episode Zero is available now, with others to follow starting December 14.
"Episode Zero introduces you to Joseph Stallion, Jessica Valiant and Gerald Wilkins as they fight for freedom in the American Territories. Blast your way through Nazis using unique abilities and an arsenal of guns in this opening DLC mission," Bethesda explains.
Gamers can purchase the Freedom Chronicles as individual DLC packs, or all together in the Season Pass for $24.99 in the United States, £17.99 in the United Kingdom, and $34.95 in Australia. Anyone who pre-ordered The New Colossus or purchaed the Season Pass can access Episode Zero, which has been available since November 7.
On December 14, The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe will release. It features Joseph Stallion, a former professional quarterback, who now gets to smash through Nazi hordes from the ruins of Chicago to the vastness of space. This will be followed up with The Diaries of Agent Silent Death on January 30, 2018, with gamers stepping into the role of Jessica Valiant, an ex-OSS agent and assassin who's mission is to infiltrate Nazi bunkers in California and discover the secrets of Operation San Andreas.
The last of bit of DLC Bethesda announced as part of Freedom Chronicles, The Amazing Deeds of Captain Wilkins, will arrive a couple months later in March.
"As the US Army’s renowned hero Captain Gerald Wilkins, embark on a mission to Nazi-controlled Alaska to dismantle Operation Black Sun!," Bethesda says.
In total, Bethesda says its multi-part Freedom Chronicles DLC contains over nine hours of content. The company did not say how much the packs will cost individually.
