Microsoft Slashes Xbox One S Price, Offers Sweet Game Bundle Deals On Run Up To Xbox One X Launch

Microsoft is gearing up for the launch of the new Xbox One X game console that will bring higher resolution gaming to console gaming fans. Pre-orders for that console kicked off late last month and it will actually land in stores for purchase on November 7. Ahead of shipping for that new game console, Microsoft is offering up some specials on Xbox One S game console bundles just in case you don't want to fork over $500 for an Xbox One X.

There are no shortage of bundles for you to choose from on the One S side of things, but sadly, not all the cool bundles are discounted. For instance if you want that new Xbox One S Minecraft edition bundle, you will pay the full $399 for it and the Xbox One S Shadow of War bundle will cost you the full $349.

If you want to reap the benefits of the discount you will need to pick up a bundle for one of the older games out there. A 500GB console with Madden NFL 18 will set you back $249, a $30 discount. The 1TB Halo Wars 2 bundle is $299, a $50 discount, as is the Forza Horizon 3 bundle. Those same discounts hold true for all the bundles with the variance between prices being storage capacity. In the 500GB realm for $249 you can get Battlefield 1, Forza Horizon 3, Minecraft Favorites, Battlefield 1 Special Edition, and Gears of War 4 Special Edition.

If you want a 1TB console, the Battlefield 1 Special Edition sells for $249 with black console and the Gears of War 4 bundle sells for $249 as well. If you need more than 1TB of storage and like fancy aged red Xbox One S consoles, the Gears of War 4 Limited Edition bundle with 2TB of storage is $349, a $50 discount.

Microsoft has claimed that pre-orders for the Xbox One X have been the highest of any previous Xbox game console. As for the original Xbox One console, you can no longer buy it with sales having ended last month. The original Xbox One and Xbox One S are nearly identical save for a slimmer profile on the S and slightly revised hardware.
