After clicking on the Learn More button, users are taken to a promotional page for Verizon Wireless that does not list the Galaxy Nexus. It’s hard to say if this price on the ad is a long-time deal or if it will be a special holiday promotion. The ad does appear to be legit however, since it’s appeared at various sites around the web. The ads are run by NetShelter, a premium advertising network... Read more...

A new service from Broadband.com could help you save some cash on your cell phone bill. The new mobile service known as Republic Wireless promises unlimited talk, text, and data for just $19 per month. Republic Wireless is able to offer this service because it operates primarily over Wi-Fi networks. Recognizing that a Wi-Fi network may not always be available, the company has an agreement with Sprint so you'll still be able to use your phone. Although there is no limit to how much you can use your phone over a Wi-Fi network, you will be limited to somewhere around 550 minutes, 150 texts, and 300 megabytes when connected to Sprint’s network. Should you cross that threshold, Republic Wireless... Read more...

In fact, we'd go as far as saying this is one of the best smartphones we've seen... Read more...

Imagine the surprise on Celina Aarons' face when she tore open her cell phone bill and found out she owed $201,005.44. Unfortunately for the Florida woman, the bill was not a mistake, as one might be inclined to believe when discovering a phone bill saying you owe more for a month's worth of cellular service than you do on your remaining mortgage. This is the sort of thing that's possible with roaming charges and international data fees, and if you're not careful, you can subject yourself to a severe case of bill shock. But before anyone rakes Ms. Aarons over the coals, understand two things. First, the system is flawed and bills like this should never happen. And second, it was her goodwill... Read more...
