Destiny 2 players are likely familiar with the game’s annual events. Events such as the Dawning, Guardian Games, and Solstice of Heroes offer new challenges and loot each year. The purpose of these events is to engage the player base. However, many players are indifferent or burnt out on these repetitive events. This was especially evident in the Destiny 2 community’s lack of interest in completing the Dawning quests. What can Bungie do to engage players? Here is what we think are the current issues with Destiny 2 annual events and how we think they could be improved. The Solstice of Heroes offers a prime example.  Destiny 2 Loot And Activities Need To Be Worth The Grind What... Read more...

Are you a fan of Destiny lore? Do you love storytelling? Then we have a job for you! Bungie is currently hiring a “Destiny Historian” to help catalog and maintain their ever-growing Destiny universe narrative. The responsibilities of the Destiny Historian are quite extensive. One of the main responsibilities of the Historian is to review scripts and work with writers and others to maintain narrative consistency. Earlier this week, Microsoft made the surprise announcement to make available an Xbox Series X-styled mini-fridge. Not only does the fridge look amazing, but it can hold ten 12-ounce cans, which should be enough to fuel you with caffeine during long gaming sessions. Now, Bungie is looking to get in on the action with a crazy, gaming-oriented appliance. Feast your eyes on the Destiny toaster, which is the product of a Bungie challenge to its Destiny fanbase. During last year's Gaming Community Expo Livestream, Bungie implored gamers to donate $777,777.77 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. If the fans surpassed that mark, it would agree to offer an "Official" Destiny toaster. Well, over... Read more...

Everything old is new again. The Destiny 2 Vault of Glass (VOG) raid officially launches on Saturday, May 22nd. Here is everything you need to know to prep for the Vault of Glass raid. What We Know About the Vault of Glass Raid Vault of Glass (VOG) was the first raid that was available in Destiny. Bungie has noted that it did not want to “evolve this raid into something completely new” and it should have a familiar feel to the original raid. Nevertheless, they have also stated that VOG will not be exactly the same as it was before. Destiny veterans may therefore have a bit of an edge over newer players, but they should expect some changes. For example, we anticipate that there will... Read more...

Game developer Bungie has set up the popular game Destiny 2 to be in it for the long haul, with new DLC and crossplay compatibility. However, the company has some new properties on the horizon, and we got a snippet of that with Bungie’s trademark of a game called “Matter” in 2018. Since then, we have not heard any other news about what is in store from the developer until now. In an interview with Japanese publication 4Gamer, Bungie Design Director Jacob Benton spoke about what the future holds for Destiny 2 and how the company plans to support the game for many more years. When asked about the possibility of Destiny 3, Benton simply elaborated on the plans for Destiny 2 and... Read more...
The last thing you want when splurging on a newfangled graphics card is to experience stuttering and other performance issues in games. Nevertheless, some Radeon GPU owners have been experiencing this very thing in Destiny 2 after the launch of the Beyond Light expansion. This has even been occurring on AMD's Radeon RX 6000 series. If you're affected by this, there are a couple of workarounds you can try. Well, technically there are three workarounds, if you count selling or returning your shiny new graphics card and buying an NVIDIA GeForce GPU instead. But now is not the greatest time to try such a thing—graphics cards are in short supply and thus very difficult to obtain, unless you're... Read more...
Destiny 2 raids can be an absolute blast to play with five of your friends. But what is better than taking down Taniks, the Abomination with six players? Taking down Taniks, the Abomination with 12 players! Destiny 2 players are currently loving a 12-player raid glitch and asking Bungie to make it a permanent feature. Raids typically allow for up to 6 players. However, the current glitch permits players to effectively merge two fireteams into one mega-team of 12 players. This can be done if one fireteam joins the other when the launch timer begins its countdown. Both teams can then join the same raid and wreak havoc.  Bungie is aware of the glitch and one Bungie Senior Community Manager... Read more...
Unfortunately, we have some bad news to present today for diehard fans of Destiny 2. Bungie just announced this afternoon that its next big expansion -- The Witch Queen – will be delayed until 2022. Although Destiny expansions usually launch during October, the first cracks in the armor appeared last year with the release of Beyond Light, which bowed in November. We'll give you just one guess for The Witch Queen's delay, and we're sure that everyone will get the correct answer. "With COVID-19 keeping us away from the office, and the large amount of work on our plates, we needed to move the date in order to make sure that both this year's updates and The Witch Queen were both...
