A Trio Of ASUS GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Turing Gaming Cards Have Just Leaked

If the rumors are correct, NVIDIA will be launching the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti tomorrow. We tend to believe that rumor considering how many branded cards have leaked out of the woodwork over the past few weeks. Just yesterday got a glimpse at a couple of GeForce GTX 1660 Ti cards from Zotac.

Today, it's ASUS' time to show us the [leaked] goods, and we have three variants. There's the ROG Strix Gaming model with a triple fan setup, a Dual OC card with... you guessed it... dual cooling fans. Finally, there's a Phoenix OC variant with just a single fan and a much shorter printed circuit board (PCB) for small form factor (SFF) builds.

As we've mentioned before, the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti (and the rumored GeForce GTX 1660) are built on a cut-down version of the Turing GPU that powers NVIDIA's pricier GeForce RTX family. However, whereas cards like the GeForce GTX 2080 feature dedicated hardware to enable real-time ray tracing in games like Battlefield V, these lower-end GeForce GTX Turing cards have that functionality disabled.

Recent benchmark leaks for the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti show that it offers a pretty sizeable performance advantage over the GeForce GTX 1060, while offering comparable performance to the GeForce GTX 1070.

Although we won’t know for sure until the cards are officially launched, here’s what we’ve heard through the grapevine with respect to card specs:

• GeForce GTX 1660 Ti: 1,536 CUDA cores, 96 Texture Units, 1,500MHz base clock, 1,770MHz boost clock, 6GB GDDR6 memory, 192-bit memory bus, 6,000MHz memory clock
• GeForce GTX 1660: 1,280 CUDA cores, 80 Texture Units, 1,530MHz base clock, 1,785MHz boost clock, 6GB GDDR5 memory, 192-bit memory bus, 4,000MHz memory clock

We reported earlier this morning that a GeForce GTX 1650 is expected to be released next month. Although we don’t have any specs with regards to CUDA cores or GPU/memory frequencies, the cards are said to come equipped with 4GB of GDDR5.

With that being said, the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, GeForce GTX 1660 and GeForce GTX 1650 are expected to debut at $279, $229, and $179 respectively.
