AT&T Offers Galaxy S III In Exclusive Red Color For $200 On Contract

Samsung announced right around 24 hours ago that the Galaxy S III would come to the U.S. on five of its carriers, and slowly but surely, carriers are confirming their own models one by one. AT&T is joining that crowd, but there's a twist. Outside of offering the Pebble Blue and Marble White versions that everyone else will have access to, AT&T users will be able to secure an exclusive red model that'll surely be an eye-catcher. Pre-orders are set to start on June 6th, with a $199.99 price tag coming with a 2-year contract.

It'll have a 4G LTE radio, as well as a 4.8" capacitive touchscreen. The 16GB model will sell for $199.99, while those who need more can snap up an extra 16GB microSD card for $39 more. Weighing only 4.7 ounces and 8.6 millimeters thin, AT&T's GSIII will offer a 1.5GHz Qualcomm CPU. Software wise, you'll find Android 4.0 (with TouchWiz), S-Voice and S-Beam, not to mention a slew of camera improvements. There's no word on a ship date, but it should head out shortly (i.e. within the month of June).
