BFG Technologies Introduces PSU Trade Up Program

It happens to the best of us. We buy a product a few days before a new, and better, model is introduced. BFG Technologies is helping to combat buyer’s remorse in these types of situations with its new program that will let you exchange your BFG power supply within 100 days of purchase for an upgraded model. Through this exchange, you’ll be responsible for the difference in price between the two PSUs as well as applicable shipping and taxes.

“The BFG Power Supply Trade Up Program is one more way we can provide our customers with valuable product enhancements and services that extend their technology investment,” said John Malley, senior director of marketing for BFG Technologies. “Customers can confidently purchase a BFG power supply today knowing that their investment will be protected if newer power supplies are launched soon after. The BFG Power Supply Trade Up program will also provide customers an opportunity to upgrade to a model more suited to their performance needs—whether that is more wattage, better efficiency, a modular version, or a combination of these features.”

BFG Technologies boasts of a few innovative features and value-added services such as this new trade-in program. For example, in 2008, the company introduced the well-received BFG 100 Day Graphic Card Trade Up Program. In addition, BFG Technologies offers round-the-clock free technical support and a lifetime warranty on all of its graphics cards.

The new BFG Power Trade Up program applies to BFG power supplies purchased after June 1, 2009. However, BFG Technologies is currently providing a special offer that will allow customers to trade in their currently eligible and working BFG power supply for an upgraded model, providing the customer purchased the unit on or after January 1, 2009 and can provide proof of purchase. This special offer runs through June 12, 2009.

The BFG Power Trade Up program is currently available only to U.S. and Canadian customers, but BFG is considering offering it in additional countries as it is “feasible to do so.” For more information about the BFG Power Supply Trade Up program, visit http://www.bfgtech.com/psutradeupprogram.aspx.
