Colorful CVN X570 Gaming Pro AMD Ryzen 3000 Zen 2 Motherboard Leaks

AMD's 7nm Zen 2 processors are fast approaching, with a launch expected later this month at Computex 2019 in Taipei, Taiwan. With this in mind, motherboards supporting the new consumer-centric Ryzen 3000 processors are starting to leak to the web. Just a few days ago, we saw the Biostar X570 Racing GT8 make an appearance, and today we're staring at the Colorful CVN X570 Gaming Pro.

The motherboard has an aeronautical theme (as witnessed by what appears to be Lockheed F-22 Raptors emblazoned on the PCB) and active PCH cooling. There are RGB lighting effects around the PCH heatsink/fan and in front of the four DIMM slots. Speaking of memory, the motherboard supports up to 64GB of DDR4-3466 (OC+).

According to WCCFTech, the CVN X570 Gaming Pro has 10-phase CPU and 2-phase memory VRMs, with power funneling to the AM4 socket through one 8-pin power connector. You can see a total of six SATA III ports spread among three separate stacks next to the PCH.

Given that one of the primary new features of AMD X570 motherboards is support for PCIe 4.0, the CVN X570 Gaming Pro has a total of three PCIe 4.0 x16 slots and three PCIe 4.0 x1 slots. In addition, there are two M.2 slots to accommodate your NVMe SSDs, each of which has an integrated heatsink. Other features of note include GbE, onboard Wi-Fi, two USB 3.1 ports, five USB 3.0 ports, six USB 2.0 ports and Voice Gamer audio using the ALC 1150 codec).

The Colorful CVN X570 Gaming Pro will of course natively support the Ryzen 3000 desktop processors, but it will also be compatible with first-generation (Zen) and second-generation (Zen+) AM4 processors.
