Corsair Twin-X Pro, Opus Tower, 6800 Ultra & Altec Lansing Sounding Good

Hey gang, time for your Friday morning news update.  There's a lot going on today, so I will spare you my morning babble since the coffee hasn't kicked in yet.  Enjoy and have a great weekend!  Here it goes...

Razer Viper Optical Mouse @ Bjorn3D:

"Like a knight looking for his best sword the gamer is also in search of tools to make him the greatest there is. You have the CPU, the monitor, keyboard, and the latest video card....but where is the mouse? Well, Razer may have yet another answer to that question with the Viper optical mouse. How does this thing stack up to the hoardes of mice flooding the market? The people over at CrazyPC have been gracious enough to give me the opportunity to take a test-drive with the Viper. Why don't we take a look and see what this mouse is made of."

Club Overclocker posted a review on Corsair's XMS3200XL Pro Twin-X memory:

"In retrospect, The XL is a whole new kind of memory that is the ultimate in low latency for better overall throughput. Basically this memory gives you that extra edge no matter what speed you run it at. You also get the addition of Corsairs LED that gives you a good idea how active your memory is. Of course their really is no real use for the LED's other than cosmetic, although you could diagnose problems if the memory is run in dual channel and one stick may run a little off. Another aspect that we witnessed in our testing lab is the improved application of Corsair's heatspreader. It seems to be compressed enough to cover all of the memory modules."

Opus Technologies MT-200 Titanium Mid Tower Case Review @ NewsTechInfo.com:

"There is a new contender in the case market, Opus Technologies, Inc. The company offers various PC components such as power supply units, cooling fans, heatsinks, and computer cases. There are a variety of computer cases in the market already and they are all designed to suit one small group of users - the enthusiasts. "

Logitech diNovo Media Desktop Review @ Designtechnica:

"Simply put, you cannot find a better keyboard-mouse combo at this price point or below. The diNovo keyboard and mouse offer great range, responsiveness, aesthetics, and overall solid build quality. While the software could stand a tweak or two, we feel that the hardware that underlies the product is hands down some of the best we have seen. Even though this fine piece of eye candy comes at a steep cost, it is worth every penny."

Gigabyte GeForce 6800 Ultra Review @ Hardwarezoom:

"Other than taking up two slots, this card requires two independent connections to the power supply. This is because the current AGP slot with single power connection is unable to supply enough current to power the 222 million transistors. Hopefully the PCI Express version will be able to solve this problem. nVidia recommend at least a 480W power supply to use with 6800Ultra. However, the power source must come from two independent 12V rails, and if only one power connection was used, the driver will warn the user after booting into Windows."

Altec Lansing VS3151 Speakers Review @ CoolTechZone:

"Altec Lansing is known for their affordable 5.1 surround sound speakers. A while back, we took a thorough look at the company's 251 5.1 surround sound speakers, which were rather impressive to say the least. It is always benefitial to users who want quality at an affordable price and Altec Lansing here is to do just that. Recently the firm released numerous models to expand its product line. We have already taken a look at few of them and today we will examine the newly released VS3151 5.1 surround sound speakers."

Well, that's all for me gang.  Check back soon for more goodies!
