NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super And RTX 2070 Super Card First Look Round-Up: MSI, EVGA, Zotac
Although we suggest that you read our review to get a full idea of how the new Super cards perform, there should probably be some cause for concern from the AMD camp. With that being said, the first round of cards from NVIDIA's OEM partners have been announced, and should be hitting store shelves within the next few weeks. This afternoon, we have entries from EVGA, MSI and Zotac.
You should already be familiar with two members of EVGA's Super family -- the GeForce RTX 2070 Super XC Gaming and EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 Super XC Ultra Gaming -- which were leaked late last week on Amazon. However, there will be multiple SKUs spread out among RTX 2060 Super, RTX 2070 Super, and RTX 2080 Super GPUs. Select cards will be outfitted with EVGA's iCX2 Technology to enhance cooling and all cards will come with the Precision X1 software utility.

If MSI is more to your liking for gaming hardware, the company also has a full lineup waiting in the wings. GeForce RTX 2060 Super cards will be available in GAMING, ARMOR, VENTUS and AERO ITX edition. If you opt for the GeForce RTX 2070 Super or GeForce RTX 2080 Super, you're limited to GAMING TRIO and VENTUS editions.
The GAMING series incorporates TORX FAN 3.0, thicker layers of copper, additional thermal padding, and a dynamic backplate. The ARMOR series features TORX Fan 2.0, and a "Boost PCB" among other things. the VENTUS series incorporates TORX Fan 2.0, direct-connect heat pipes, a Boost PCB and additional thermal padding. Finally, the Aero ITX -- only available on the GeForce RTX 2060 Super -- has a board length of just 174mm and single fan for fitting into HTPCs.
Finally, Zotac is attacking on all fronts with its GeForce RTX Super family. The GeForce RTX 2070 Super and GeForce RTX 2080 Super are available in Twin Fan, AMP, and AMP Extreme variants. The GeForce RTX 2060 Super, on the other hand, is available in Mini, AMP, and AMP Extreme editions. All have robust cooling solutions including IceStorm 2.0 tech and Spectra lighting.
GeForce RTX 2060 Super and GeForce RTX 2070 Super cards should be available to purchase on July 9th.
