Facebook Bug Temporarily Kills Users Placing Memorials At The Top Of Their Profile
The grim reaper made a surprise visit to Facebook heading into the weekend and collected a bunch of souls, including that of Mark Zuckerberg, co-founder and CEO of the world's largest social network turned graveyard due to a glitch. Many users logged into Facebook only to find that the site was reporting them as deceased, turning their once lively profile into an online memorial.
Creepy, right? Rest assured, Zuckerberg and many others are still alive and kicking despite their bugged out profiles suggesting the contrary.
I'm guessing Zuckerberg isn't dead either... pic.twitter.com/9M9uaVsvjR

Links to learn more about memorized accounts and using the legacy setting on Facebook accompanied the message, as is the case on all memorialized profiles. The only problem is that Facebook incorrectly identified Zuckerberg as being deceased, along with many others, several of which posted their out of body experiences on Twitter.

Facebook Friday: Mark Zuckerberg is dead. Your friends are dead. We are all dead.
Facebook has since restored the accounts affected by the bug. Chalk this one up as a grave error (see what we did there?).
