Big Galaxy Note 8 Leaks Give Clear Look At Dual Camera And Infinity Display-Clad Samsung Flagship
Infamous leaker Evan Blass, otherwise known by his Twitter handle @evleaks, took to social media to post what appear to be official press renderings of Samsung's not-yet-announced Galaxy Note 8 handset. In doing so, Blass has seemingly confirmed that the Galaxy Note 8 will in fact ship with a dual rear camera configuration.
The leaked shots depict the Galaxy Note 8 in both black and gold color options. Unlike many leaked photos that end up on the web, we get a crystal clear look at the unreleased handset from the front, back, and both sides. We also get a glimpse of the S Pen in both black and gold.
Blass said he will be posting full specifications for the Galaxy Note 8 sometime later today. In the meantime, we can see several details for ourselves. The biggest is the aforementioned dual camera setup. Samsung opted for a horizontal configuration that is centered near the top of the Galaxy Note 8. As to the megapixel count and special features, we will have to wait until later.
One thing that is interesting to note is that Samsung owns an image sensor brand called ISOCELL. After Samsung introduced the brand at the 2017 Mobile World Congress, there was speculation that the Galaxy Note 8 might feature Samsung's own ISOCELL camera technology.

This is a big launch for Samsung. The company lost out on Galaxy Note 7 sales after issuing a worldwide recall due to an overheating hazard. While the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ subsequently launched to a still eager fan base, there is still a market for a modern phablet.
