Galaxy S8 And S8+ Renders Show Size Comparison With iPhone 7, Note 7 And Pixel XL
As we fast approach the March 29th official unveil for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, we’re beginning to learn more details about both flagship smartphones. Earlier this week, the following image was provided which gives us a look at the [reported] 5.8-inch Galaxy S8 side-by-side with its 6.2-inch Galaxy S8+ big brother.

However, it would be nice to see how both smartphones stack up against their predecessors and the competitive set in the flagship smartphone arena. Luckily, OnLeaks has all of those bases covered with numerous renders. In the first render below, you can see both smartphone compared to current and previous Galaxy flagships.
Next up, we see how the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ compared with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. You can immediately see how much space is wasted by the ginormous bezels on both Apple smartphones, a deficit that will apparently be rectified with the upcoming iPhone 8 (which is set to lose its physical home button).
We should also mention that the Galaxy S8+ has similar dimensions to the iPhone 7 Plus, but manages to cram in a 6.2-inch display compared to the 5.5-inch display on its most obvious competitor.
If that wasn’t enough, OnLeaks has posted yet another comparison show which throws in the Huawei P10, LG G6, Nexus 6P, Google Pixel and Pixel XL.

The U.S. market Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC that is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The larger of the two will have a screen resolution of 3200x1800 (QHD+), while the smaller will likely retain its QHD (2560x1440) resolution. You’ll also find things like an iris scanner, 12MP main camera, 8MP selfie camera, wireless charging, microSD slot and IP68 dust/water resistance.
Worldwide availability was initially expected on April 21st, but recent reports have suggested that the date has been pushed back one week to April 28th.
