Google Pixel 3 Camera Shots Preview: The Most Impressive Pixel Camera Yet

Last week, Google officially announced its Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL Android Pie flagships along with a couple of other hardware products. However, the Pixel 3 family is no doubt Google's most anticipated hardware launch of the year, and one of the salient features that prospective buyers will want to know is how good the main rear camera is on these news Pixel phones. Google's first- and second-generation Pixel smartphones were praised for their excellent overall photo image quality which was made possible by just a single rear camera and Google's excellent pre- and post-processing engines on board the devices.

Shot On Google's Pixel 3 XL

With the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, Google has retained its single rear camera design, and as you can see from the images here, that isn't holding the camera back from producing some amazing shots. While we can't provide you with our full review right now, enjoy these [untouched] images to tide you over. Above is a Portrait Mode shot of one of our most loyal HotHardware followers lounging on the kitchen floor. You can see how the top of Mac's head is clearly defined against the blurred refrigerator in the background. Even her muzzle and left ear are clearly accentuated without distortion.
