Google Pixel 4 Spied From All Angles In These Hands-On Video Leaks
Today, the Pixel 4 has leaked twice in two separate videos. The first brief video shows a black Pixel 4 booting up and then is paraded in front of the camera from every angle. The video is too short to focus on one detail for more than a few seconds, but it at least gives us an “in the metal” look at the phone.
The second video comes by way of XDA-Developers, which spotted footage of a white Pixel 4 that has already been booted into Android 10. We can also see that this Pixel 4 has a white back glass backplate, but the display bezels and sides of the device are black. We also spy an orange power button.
One thing that is clear from both videos is that there is a sizable bezel at the top of the display (for the front sensors including a selfie camera and Project Soli for hand gesture recognition) and at the bottom. It remains to be seen if users will prefer this arrangement over the big notch on the Pixel 3 XL or the minimal bezel design in devices like the OnePlus 7 Pro.
The Pixel 4 familyis rumored to be powered by a Snapdragon 855 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM. The smaller Pixel 4 will allegedly have a 5.7-inch AMOLED display (Full HD+), while the Pixel 4 XL display will come in at 6.3 inches (QHD+). If the rumors are accurate, both displays will come with a silky smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Other features rumored include 2800 mAh and 3700 mAh batteries for the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL respectively, and potentially up to 256GB of internal storage space.
Google is widely expected to announce the next-generation Pixel 4 family at a hardware event next month. In related news, Best Buy has already put up a landing page for the new smartphones.
