Halo Insider Program Launches For Master Chief Collection Early Access On PC

Halo Master Chief Collection
Microsoft recently announced that it was bringing the entire Halo catalog to PC, through both the Microsoft Store and Steam. For the first time, a fan of the franchise (new or old) will be able to play every major title without touching an Xbox console, if that is their desire. In anticipation of the wholesale port, Microsoft is opening up its Halo Insider program to PC players.

The Halo Insider program was previously only available to Xbox One gamers, and it played an important role in fixing bugs in the Master Chief Collection for that console. By opening up the program to PC players, Microsoft hopes it will have the same effect on the Windows experience.

"Join us on the journey to bring Halo: The Master Chief Collection to PC! The Halo Insider program is the new way you can partner with us to help improve our games via feedback and hands-on public flighting. Learn more and sign up today!," Microsoft stated on Twitter.

The Halo Insider program brings a closer interaction between players and developer 343 Industries. Insiders will have the opportunity to provide regular feedback and insights into how the Master Chief Collection is shaping up, along with presumably future Halo experiences on PC. There will be other perks as well.

"You will also be given exclusive opportunities to participate in public flights of in-progress Halo game releases and provide feedback to the development team," Microsoft says.

In addition, Halo Insiders will be considered for early access play sessions with in-development Halo games. All that said, there is still no date on exactly when the Master Chief Collection will land on PC. In the meantime, you can hit the link in the Via field below to sign up for the Halo Insider program.
