We’ve already seen what Samsung and LG have to offer this time around in the flagship Android smartphone realm thanks to the debut for Galaxy S7/Galaxy S7 Edge and LG G5 respectively last month at MWC 2016. But what about HTC? The company has been dropping hints via teasers for the past few weeks, but as is often the case when it comes to highly anticipated smartphones, the new “10” has been leaked ahead of time for all to see.

OnLeaks and EVLeaks tag-teamed the HTC 10 today with a bevy of leaked prototype shots and renders. OnLeaks kicked off the festivities with three images of a prototype in black, one of which clearly shows off the integrated USB-C port (while the LG G5 also features a USB-C port, the Galaxy S7 series still soldiers on with a microUSB port).

In addition to the images of the prototype, OnLeaks confirmed the specs of the device which include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM, Adreno 530 graphics, a 5.15-inch QHD display and a 12MP rear camera.

No to be outdone, Evan Blass of EVLeaks decided to play along by posting full renders of the HTC 10 in silver/aluminum. These are the clearest shots that we’ve seen of the phone and show chamfered edges and a design that is reminiscent somewhat of the old iPhone 5s. The similarities with the iPhone 5s extend to the front of the device where there’s plenty of wasted space above and below the display.

The home button especially looks a bit awkward as it sits low on the face of the device and has plenty of dead space between it and the bottom of the display. The front-facing speakers of the One M9 have given way to two capacitive buttons that flank the home button (which also doubles as a fingerprint reader).

We still don’t have an official launch date for the HTC 10, although word on the street is that an announcement will be made in late March or early April.
