Inland's Crazy Fast 5GB/s 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD Is A Smoking Deal At $380, 1TB Just $180

Computer enthusiasts and anyone else wanting blazing-fast storage for their computer build will want to check out this latest Amazon deal that is going right now. Inland-branded SSD is making the rounds, and it comes in 1TB and 2TB capacities. Both are M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 4.0 drives and are compatible with AMD's new X570-based motherboards for Ryzen 3000 Zen 2 processors.

The SSD uses 3D TLC NAND flash and is resistant to shock, vibration, and movement. Since there are no moving parts, it will make no noise, and it has a large heatsink attached to prevent overheating.

Performance is claimed to be up to 5000MB/s read speed and up to 4300MB/s write speed for the 2TB version, which sells for $379.99. The 1TB version, selling for $179.99, promises up to 4700MB/s read and 4200 MB/s write speeds. The big benefit to an SSD like this is very fast boot times for a computer, shorter application load times, and faster data transfer. And while these are PCIe 4.0 SSDs, they are also backwards compatible with PCIe 3.0 motherboards; although you obviously won't get peak performance.

The controller used by the SSDs isn't mentioned, but it's likely a Phison-based SSD like the Gigabyte AORUS PCIe 4.0 SSD we talked about back in May. A similar drive is the Sabrent Rocket we talked about in July. The Phison PCIe 4.0 SSD controller is the only one shipping now until Toshiba's PCIe 4.0 SSD controller is in full production.
