Kingston Unleashes New microSDXC 64GB Class 10 Memory Card

Kingston announced the new 64GB Kingston microSDXC Class 10 memory card. This card is designed to bring higher storage capacities and faster speeds to smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices. Kingston's microSDXC cards are compliant with the latest SD Association specification.

Kingston’s micro Secure Digital eXtended Capacity (microSDXC) card operates on the exFAT file system. This file system is designed to handle large volumes of data including files larger than 4GB.  The cards utilize non-volatile memory components for added reliability. Thanks to its Class 10 rating, the microSDXC cards deliver a 10MB/s minimum sustained transfer rate with compatible microSDXC devices.

“The need for higher storage capacity is growing as consumers shoot more pictures and videos, and carry around more data,” said Andrew Ewing, Flash memory business manager, Kingston. “With our new 64GB Class 10 microSDXC card, we offer our customers a chance to fully maximize the performance and storage capabilities of their existing mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones, by providing them with a reliable and easy upgrade solution.”

All of Kingston's memory cards come with a lifetime warranty. The 64GB microSDXC Class 10 Flash Card sells for $100.
