Motorola Moto G7 Discounted 50% To Just $149 With This Google Fi Hot Deal

With smartphone pricing getting out of hand (the Galaxy Note 10+ starts at $1,099), it's nice to know that some manufacturers -- like OnePlus -- are making flagship smartphones available at more palatable price (the OnePlus 7 Pro is priced from $669). But for some people, even that is a lot to spend on a device that will be mainly used for surfing the web, texting, and making phone calls. That's where Motorola comes in.

Motorola has always prided itself on making affordable smartphones with its G and E Series devices, and that tradition extends to the Moto G7. The smartphone typically retails for $299, which is already a great price, but it can be had now for half price if you activate the device on Google Fi.

To quality for this discounted pricing (which shows up when you add the device to your cart), you have to activate the device with Google Fi within 30 days of receiving your shipping confirmation. If you're not particularly fond of Google Fi, you can just purchase the phone and sign up for a month of service ($20 for unlimited calls/text plus $10 for 1GB of data) and then drop the service after your first month. After that point, you could take the Moto G7 to any U.S. carrier of your choice.

The Moto G7 is powered by a mid-range, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It has a 6.2-inch 2270x1080 display and a 3,000 mAh battery. If the 64GB of internal storage isn't enough for you, there is a microSD slot for expansion. Up front, there's an 8MP selfie camera nestled within a teardrop notch, while out back there are two cameras (12MP primary sensor, 5MP depth sensor).

Google's promotion pricing on the Motorola Moto 7 with Google Fi is applicable through September 2nd. You can take advantage of the promotion by clicking the following link.
