MSI Dishes 17.3" CR700 And CX700 Notebooks

Hold up, MSI! Another week like this, and surely you'll be flat out of new releases for the next year or so! Continuing the company's torrent of new wares, MSI has today introduced two more models in its refreshed 'Classic' series, which comes just days after it announced the CX600 and CR600.

The 17" CX700 and CR700 look an awful lot like the aforesaid pair, though you'll obviously find a bit more screen real estate here. These two boast the outfit's latest generation Color Film Print Technology, which protects the external shell while creating vivid crystal patterns that look different depending on what angle you view it. As for hardware, you'll find an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 discrete GPU on the CX700, which is said to be 49% more powerful than the previous generation. Meanwhile, the CR700 gets fitted with an NVIDIA GeForce 8200M GPU. Both units are equipped with 2.1 speakers, an HDMI output, LED backlit widescreen panel, a 1.3MP camera, microphone 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and MSI's own ECO engine power saving technology.

Both notebooks weigh just 3kg and come with 6-cell batteries, a Core 2 Duo processor, 1600x900 resolution, a maximum of 4GB of RAM, Ethernet and a price tag that's to be determined.
