NVIDIA GeForce NOW Game Streaming For Android Live In Korea, But You Can Sideload The APK

Android fans looking forward to streaming some games to their Android devices will be glad to hear that the GeForce Now app has launched in beta for Android. The catch is that the launch is only in Korea. The bright side for Android gamers wanting in on the action outside of Korea is that you can sideload the APK, which can be downloaded here, and try your luck with the service.

Our first glimpse at the NVIDIA GeForce Now game service on Android devices came via a demo at the AT&T MGM Resorts NBA Summer League in Las Vegas back in July. As the official launch for the service nears, NVIDIA has been gearing up by launching RTX servers in Germany and California. NVIDIA is expected to expand RTX access to the rest of Europe and North America in the coming months.

NVIDIA noted that since the GeForce Now service launched in beta, over 30 million hours of gameplay from over 1,000 games has streamed from GeForce Now servers. NVIDIA said in its press release that it would be expanding the service to Android devices, including flagship smartphones from LG and Samsung. For gamers wanting to sideload the APK and give streaming a go, NVIDIA is recommending a Bluetooth gamepad like the SHIELD controller, Razer Raiju Mobile, or Steelseries Stratus Duo. Some of the games on GeForce Now are unplayable without a gamepad.
