NVIDIA Launches SLIZone.Com

Good afternoon folks! We just got word from NVIDIA that they've launched a new website full of information about their SLI (Scalable Link Interface) technology. And to help get things started, they're giving away a ton of hardware, courtesy of MSI.  Here's the full scoop..

NVIDIA has launched a new website dedicated to SLI information. A spin-off of the NVIDIA nZone Web site (www.nzone.com), the new SLIzone Web site (www.SLIzone.com) provides a plethora of information on SLI technology including news, system builder information, tutorials, reviews, certifications, contests and much more.

To kick off the new site, MSI is sponsoring an SLI video contest, with prizes awarded to the top 3 SLI videos.  Prizes include:

Grand Prize:
NVIDIA SLI-Ready components featuring two (2) NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT-based MSI graphics cards and one (1) NVIDIA nForce4 SLI-based MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum motherboard

First Prize:
NVIDIA SLI-Ready components featuring two (2) NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT-based MSI graphics cards and one (1) NVIDIA nForce4 SLI-based MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum motherboard

Second Prize:
NVIDIA nForce4 SLI-based MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum motherboard

Modders can also compete to have their custom built SLI machines named the SLI Rig of the month, like "Gadget" did:

We just got MSI's new 6800 GT here in the lab, and will have a review posted shortly. It's got a custom all-copper cooling solution, that's also much quieter than most other "stock" solutions. And if you want to read up on the MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum/SLI board, we covered it in our round-up, right here...
