Other specs rumored for the smartphones include a 20MP front camera and dual cameras on the back each offering 16MP. That rear cameras also tipped for tech that allows portrait mode and bokeh effects. Interestingly rumors also suggest that the front selfie camera might support those features as well. Two versions of the smartphone are expected with one offering 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The other version is tipped as 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone will run OxygenOS that is based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau mentioned in a forum post recently that the smartphone would have a 3.5mm headphone port, something that is important to many people out there.

"On the whole, wireless earbuds aren't there yet to provide the same quality of audio," said Lau. "Are the best wireless headphones comparable to the best of the wired? That's possible. But as you get closer to the under $200 category, the options are more limited."

The SoC used in the smartphone is a Snapdragon 835 running at 2.4 GHz according to the leak. The smartphone is also going to have a fingerprint scanner on the back. It’s not clear exactly when the smartphone will be available, but that launch has been tipped to occur within the next few weeks at an event in New York City.
