It's a near certainty that the alleged Galaxy F folding smartphone will debut in production form alongside the Galaxy S10 family in just over a week. Samsung will hold an Unpacked event in San Francisco during which the company will showcase that latest that it has to offer in the mobile segment.

Samsung once again teased the Galaxy F this morning in a video posted to Twitter. The global #1 smartphone manufacturer highlights the tagline “The Future Unfolds” during the video along with animations that clearly reference the folding display. Although there isn’t much else to go on from the short 15-second teaser, Samsung confirms that the device will be on display February 20th.

At this point, we don’t know much about the internal specs of the device, although it’s highly likely that it will feature a Snapdragon 845 or Snapdragon 855 processor running the show. We also have the feeling that Samsung won’t be adding a 5G modem to this particular device, as that might be too much of a good thing in what will already be a segment-busting device.

What we do know, however, is that the prototype that was first shown off back in November had a primary folding Infinity Flex display that measures 7.3 inches with a resolution of 2152x1535. However, the Galaxy F will also incorporate a 4.58-inch secondary panel on the outside with a resolution of 840x1960. The secondary display will be used to present information (i.e. time, alerts, today screen, etc.) when the device is folded closed.

We will be reporting live from Samsung’s Unpacked event, so stay tuned for hands on video of Galaxy S10 family (Galaxy S10, S10+ and S10e) along with the Galaxy F.
