The partnership between Spotify and Hulu is strengthening today with the announcement of lowered bundle pricing. Last year, the pair announced a discounted bundle that allowed you to receive Spotify Premium and the Hulu Limited Commercials plan for $12.99 per month.

Today, that same bundle has been discounted to just $9.99 per month, which means that you're basically getting the Hulu Limited Commercials plan for free with your Spotify Premium subscription. If you already have an active Spotify Premium subscription and don't already Hulu bundled in, you can enable it from "Your Services" within Account Settings. For those that are already taking advantage of the Spotify + Hulu Limited Commercials bundle, you can simply sit back and start taking advantage of the lower pricing automatically when your billing cycle starts over again.

According to Spotify, there is a "limited quantity" of this promotion available through June 10th 2019, or while supplies last. The new $9.99 price is also available to both new and existing customers during this promotional period.

Recent reporting from Bloomberg shows that Hulu's mission to provide value to streaming customers has paid off. The Hulu Live TV service now has nearly 2 million subscribers, and is reportedly adding new customers at a rate of "hundreds of thousands" per quarter. This latest move will no doubt help to fuel that growth.

Hulu last made waves in late January when it announced that the price of its standalone ad-supported plan would permanently drop to $5.99 per month (from $7.99 per month). At the time, the move was seen as a rather ingenious counter to Netflix, which had recently raised the price of its most basic plan from $8 per month to $9 per month.
