Porsche and Apple have announced a team-up that will bring integrated Apple Music streaming to the fast and cool Porsche Taycan EV sports car. The Taycan is the first fully electric Porsche and is set to launch in September, and it will have a touchscreen display in its dash as part of the Porsche Advanced Cockpit.

From that touchscreen, Apple Music subscribers will be able to stream over 50 million songs with no ads and have access to thousands of curated playlists and the Beats 1 global livestream. The music will stream using the Taycan's integrated internet data connectivity that is complimentary for the first three years of ownership.

While Apple Music is available on most new vehicles today via a CarPlay connection with your iPhone, Porsche says that this is the first-ever full integration of Apple Music directly into a car. The Apple and Porsche tie-up will give Taycan drivers some unique features they can enjoy while driving, with the Porsche voice assistant allowing drivers to request songs, albums, playlists, or radio stations on Apple Music.

The integration will also allow Porsche Taycan owners to hear a song on normal broadcast radio and then create a custom playlist featuring the song they heard. Porsche will also offer specially curated playlists that are exclusive to Apple Music.

New and existing Porsche owners get up to six months of free Apple Music. Audiophiles only wanting to listen to the best quality music can get a Burmester High-End Surround Sound system with Apple Digital Masters for studio-quality listening on the go.  The 600HP Porsche Taycan is priced from $92,500.
