Western Digital enters the home entertainment market with the WD TV™ HD Media Player (Model# WDAVN00BN).
With a small footprint, (1.57"H x 3.94"L x 4.94"W) and great looks that would compliment any home entertainment center, this unit is ready to accept your Western Digital My
Passport portable USB drive and play media to your connected standard or High Definition TV. Although it is designed as a companion for My Passport drives (it even includes a My Passport stand) it will accept most other USB storage devices including flash drives.
Featuring full HD video 1080p playback you can stream content directly from your USB drive to your High Definition TV experiencing HD video clarity and digital sound quality.
Among the features is the ability to connect two storage devices via the two included USB ports and view the media content of both drives simultaneously as aggreagated in the Media Library and sorted by media type whether it be movies, photos or music.
The WD TV™ HD Media Players I/O is in the form of two USB connectors for your media storage input and both an HDMI connector for High Definition TV's and RCA Jacks for standard tv connectivity.
