Here Are Amazon's Hottest Prime Day Deals Available Starting Tonight

If you are an Amazon Prime member, here is a reminder that Amazon's annual Prime Day sales bonanza kicks off tonight and runs through all of tomorrow. During that 30-hour shopping period, there will be a constant barrage of marked down items, including tens of thousands of so-called "Lightning Deals," with new ones starting as often as every five minutes. To help prepare, Amazon has given a heads up on what some of them will be.


"Our teams have been working for months to source exciting and interesting deals. Our fulfillment centers are loaded with products, our operations associates are ready and our transportation partners around the world are excitedly waiting for the first Prime Day order," said Greg Greeley, Vice President, Amazon Prime. "This Prime Day, our Prime members will find hundreds of thousands of deals on everything they’re into—from beauty fans to bookworms and gamers to gardeners."

Here is a look at some of the more intriguing discounts that are on tap (including popular Alexa devices):

• Save 50 percent on Amazon Echo ($90)
• Save $15 on Echo Dot ($35)
• Save $30 on Kindle Paperwhite ($90)
• Save $40 on Fire HD Kids Edition ($90)
• Save $75 on Echo Show and Arlo Security Camera Bundle
• Echo Dot and Sony XB10 bundle will be under $70
• Save up to 50 percent on select video games, consoles, and accessories
• Save up to 40 percent on PC gaming laptops, desktops, and accessories
• Save 30 percent on RepRap Guru 3D Printer
• Save $100 on the Bissell Multi Reach Cordless Stick Vacuum
• Save 25 percent or more on AmazonBasics—from office products to outdoor gear

That is just a sample of what Amazon plans to offer during its Prime Day event. Deals will extend across the online retailer's wide range of product categories, with sales on everything from video games and electronics to grocery items and apparel.

Amazon has been criticized in the past for offering up underwhelming deals as part of is Prime Day extravaganza. Nevertheless, it has proven a popular event with Amazon setting single day sales records. As for this year's Prime Day, it looks like the online retailer has some interesting deals ready to go, so we are crossing our fingers that lots of interesting deals will be available.
