Batman Arkham And Lego Trilogies Are Free On PC Right Now, Here's How To Claim Them

Batman Arkham Collection
Say what you will about the Epic Games Store—it is a divisive topic in the gaming community, for sure—one thing we can't complain about is the quality of some of the free games. The latest offering drives this point home. In celebration of 80 years of Batman's first appearance 80 years ago (in Detective Comics issue 27), Epic Games is giving away six games featuring the caped crusader.

The caveat is that you have to register with Epic Games and grab the six titles through the Epic Games Store. Some gamers are upset over the exclusivity agreements Epic Games has been able to hammer out with developers and publishers, but for those who are indifferent (or are big fans of the storefront), this is a sweet promotion.

LEGO Batman

These are two collections that are up for grabs, including the LEGO Batman Trilogy and the Batman Arkham Collection. There are six games in all...
  • LEGO Batman: The Videogame
  • LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes
  • LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
  • Batman: Arkham Asylum
  • Batman: Arkham City
  • Batman: Arkham Knight
The two collections are free to claim until September 26, with the promotion expiring on that day at 7:59am PT (10:59am ET). So, you have until next Thursday morning to hop into the Epic Games Store and grab these titles.

These are mostly desirable games, too. The Arkham Trilogy is a gritty series developed by Rocksteady, and though Arkham Knight ran into some launch-day performance issues, most modern PCs should be able to handle the game just fine. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the LEGO games developed by TT Games are lighter in tone and more kid/family friendly.

Epic Games serves up free titles on a regular basis—at least one game every week, in fact. This week it happens to be six titles. Looking ahead, Epic Games has Metro: 2033 Redux and Everything on tap. In the meantime, hit this link to claim the Batman games.
