Dell XPS 600 Renegade Launched

Do you remember that slick-looking, flame covered Quad-SLI powered Dell rig we showed you all in

our CES coverage from earlier this year
?  Well, it looks like Dell has finally made good and have begun
taking orders for their XPS 600 Renegade
. Unlike the system we saw at CES though, the "final" XPS 600 Renegade is sporting Quad GeForce 7900 GTXs, and one of AGEIA's brand-new PhysX cards is available as an option.  The base specifications include:
  • Intel Pentium Extreme Edition CPU @ 4.26GHz (Pre-Overclocked)
  • NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX GPUs x 4, each with 512MB of memory (2GB Total)
  • 2GB of Low-Latency DDR2-667 RAM
  • Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1y Sound Card
  • NVIDIA nForce 4 SLI X16 Motherboard
  • Dual 160GB Western Digital Raptor X Hard Drives in a RAID 0 configuration, plus an additional 400GB HD for storage
  • Custom Painted Case
  • Windows XP Professional

Dell's page states that quantities are limited, but if you can cover the almost $10,000 price tag you can make one of these systems yours.
