Kingston Ships 4GB/8GB HyperX Mobile Memory Kits

Kingston -- always looking to one-up the competition. Nothing wrong with that of course, but you best stay away from these guys if you hate things like "best, fastest and greatest." The company's newest memory modules aren't modest in the least. In fact, these newly released modules are hailed as the fastest notebook memory for Intel's Core Mobile CPU family (Huron River).

They fall into the HyperX line of high-performance RAM sticks, and they support the newest, 2nd-gen Core Mobile processors. It's a 1600MHz SO-DIMM that's perfect for notebooks and Mini-ITX motherboards, with the company selling them as dual-channel plug and play CL9 memory kits. They're available starting this week as 4GB and 8GB kits, with pricing set for $67 and $112, respectively. Not too terribly bad for speed demon RAM.
