Ninja Says Your Whining And Boycotting Over Fortnite BRUTE Mechs Is Futile

Fortnite Season 10 launched to much fanfare earlier this month, and it brought with it a number of changes to the island and the game mechanics. Perhaps the biggest change, however, was the addition of the B.R.U.T.E. mech, which is ideally controlled by two players.

Players have complained profusely about the mechs, which many say are too overpowered with their onboard shotgun, missile launcher and shields. Not only that, the mechs can traverse the landscape quickly and stomp opponents with reckless abandon. Now, Fortnite gaming legend Ninja is giving his two cents about the B.R.U.T.E. mechs, and his advice boils down to “Suck it up, buttercup.”

While some of the top players in the world are boycotting Fortnite because of how the B.R.U.T.E. mechs have changed the game, Ninja says that taking a stand against Epic is rather futile. "I guarantee, if all four of us stopped playing this game, and start playing like PUBG or Realm Royale, they still wouldn't remove the mechs,” said Ninja, referring to himself, Cloak, Dr. Lupo, and TimTheTatman. While all four of those players are rockstars in the Fortnite realm, they Epic would still likely be raking in money hand over fist regardless of what they say or do.

And to tell you the truth, Ninja, aka Tyler Blevins, is probably correct. Epic has faced backlash for changes it has made to Fortnite gameplay mechanics before, but it has typically responded with either just minor updates to appease its critics or ignored the cries altogether.

It stands to reason that we may have to put up with the B.R.U.T.E. mechs for quite some time, as Epic has shown no signs that it will get rid of them – at least during this season. As for all of you out there hoping that the mechs will be banished to the vault, never to return again, you probably shouldn’t hold your breath.
