Get A Nintendo Switch For $269 After Savings With This Hot Gaming Deal

Nintendo Switch
Are you looking for a gift idea (for someone else or perhaps to treat yourself)? If so, there are plenty of bargains out there. One that catches our eye today is the Nintendo Switch. Over on Amazon, you can snag one for $269.99, which is $30 below its list price. This is the latest version of the console, too. [EDIT: the Gray version is sold out and not available at the moment -- go here to get the Neon Blue/Red model for $269.00 after coupon, though note it will be in stock on January 19, 2020).

If you are lucky, you might even be able to grab one for $239.99, though don't bank on that. Here's the thing—when you are signed into your Amazon account, there is a clickable coupon box that knocks $30 off the price. It's been reported that manually inputting coupon code D3E2CDJ6GB6S at checkout shaves another $30 off the price. They're basically the same coupon. It appears Amazon has since corrected the error, though it's still worth trying.

Latest revision Nintendo Switch - $269.99 on Amazon (click the coupon and/or input D3E2CDJ6GB6S at checkout)

Even without the extra $30 discount, this a solid deal. Bear in mind that this is for the latest revision of the Nintendo Switch, which offers longer battery life than the original. There are two ways to tell which version you are buying. First, the original version carried the model designation HAC-001, while the refreshed console is labeled HAC-001(-01). Secondly, the retail packaging looks different—the revised model sports a mostly red retail box, as shown in the image at the top of this article.

The refreshed model is the one you want, if given a choice. That's because Nintendo managed to bump the battery life from 2.5-6.5 hours, to 4.5-9 hours. It is a rather dramatic increase in battery life, which is obviously important for a console that, in part, is built for gaming on the go.
