OnePlus 7 Pro Delivers Knockout Performance In This Geekbench Leak, Ships With 12GB RAM

OnePlus
It will not be long before OnePlus formally introduces its next flagship phones, the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, which are expected to arrive in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, some benchmark scores are starting to pop up. Over at Geekbench, there are at least three sets of scores for a "OnePlus GM1917," all of which crack the 11,000 mark in the multi-score test.

The OnePlus GM1917 is the OnePlus 7 Pro variant. Assuming there is no funny business going on with the database entries, the upcoming handset is looking like a strong contender. Here is a look at the scores that have popped up in the database so far...

OnePlus 7 Geekbench Scores

We cannot say for sure if those scores are legitimate. If they are, then the OnePlus 7 Pro compares favorably to other flagship phones on the market, running neck and neck with Samsung's Galaxy S10+.

Bearing in mind that we have not tested or benchmarked the OnePlus 7 Pro ourselves, here is how the leaked scores compare to our own collection of scores of other handsets that we have tested...

OnePlus 7 Pro

The OnePlus 7 Pro climbs all the way to the top section of the graph, leading every other Android handset except for the Galaxy S10+, which it trails by just 43 points in the multi-core test, and 17 points in the single-core test. Those are impressive scores.

Not that this is shocking. The OnePlus 7 Pro is armed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and a whopping 12GB of memory. it's also likely that the Pro model will sport a display with a 90Hz refresh rate—OnePlus has made a big deal about the investment it has poured into the Pro model's screen. That investment has already paid off, as DisplayMate recently announced that the OnePlus 7 Pro earned an A+ score in its display evaluation.

Look for OnePlus to announce its upcoming 7-series phones on May 14.
