Dell UltraSharp 27 Premier Color UltraHD 4K Monitor Review: HDR And Superior Accuracy

Dell UltraSharp 27 Premier Color UltraHD 4K HDR Summary And Conclusion

The Dell UltraSharp 27 Premier Color UltraHD 4K HDR monitor is an excellent tool for graphic designers and content creation professionals. The bottom line is, this is a gorgeous display with some killer features, like a bright and accurate 27" IPS panel with a native resolution of 4K, PIP, support for HDR10, and more. Dell Premium Color also gives the display a wide range of support for a number of color standards including 100% sRGB, Adobe RGB, REC 709, 97.7% DC-P3 and 76.9% REC just to name a few. Plus users are treated to a wide array of connectivity options, including a wealth of USB 3.0 ports. And we had no issues with setup or performance whatsoever. The monitor was ready to go and performed well straight out of the box.

A monitor like the Dell UltraSharp 27 Premier Color UltraHD 4K HDR (model UP2718Q) doesn't come cheap, however. At nearly $1500 it's not the most budget-friendly option, especially for hardcore gamers or movie buffs that mostly consume content. But the premium price tag is more easily digestible for the professional target market, where quality and color accuracy is paramount.
